ISIS is a comprehensive database of detailed reports on public and private insurance companies around the world. ISIS contains information on 8,500 companies around the world. The information on the insurance companies is provided by Fitch Ratings. The coverage on ISIS can be broken down into the following number of companies: - 5,300 non-life companies - 2,400 life companies - 600 composite. Over 100 different countries are covered. Each company report typically contains the following: contact information including website, country and world rankings, ratings, major business lines and geographical markets, income statement and balance sheet that can be viewed in different levels of detail and standardisation including "as reported", ratios (as supplied with the facility to create your own), shareholders, subsidiaries, key personnel, security and price information, weekly and monthly pricing series and news. Each company is part of a default peer group; integral graphs illustrate its position in this peer group. A tree diagram instantly displays the structure of the group. Integral analysis software allows you to compare companies against each other and produce tables and graphs to illustrate your results. These can be downloaded into most packages. Further features include: an Addin function that facilitates the analysis of "live" data from ISIS within Excel/Access and BvD’s matching software, which allows you to compare your own database records with those that also occur in ISIS and update or enhance your data accordingly. ISIS is available on CD-ROM and the internet. ISIS can also be installed on your corporate intranet or combined with other data sources and bespoke software to create a customised credit solution using BvDEP's FACT. /nl << back |
